8 Weeks to Effortless weight loss client, L, is busy running a big series of golf tournaments. It means long days of running around and not getting much chance to meal prep or even put meaningful thought into what her meals will be made of. She admits she hasn't been following my food guidelines very well at all.
She's losing weight, though. Her body composition is improving nicely (I don't ask my clients for this information, or for progress photos or anything; she sent along some screen captures of a body composition tracking app she has on her phone, which is kind of neat).
Because the part of the program she has been able to implement is WHEN she eats. The meal timing component of the program is just as important and valuable as the meal composition piece.
She's building great new habits right now while things are extra-hectic for her, and I have every confidence that when her golf tour is over and she has the time to focus on meal composition, the weight will melt right off.
The moral of this story is: Don't wait for the perfect time. Do it now. Even if you can only do a little bit of it, it's a step in the right direction.
